Our Story

Baked into the
hills of Luzerne County

Song Of The Bread didn't start in a restaurant or a food hall. It started at a kitchen table in Le Raysville, with a jar of starter and a stubborn belief that the best bread is the kind that takes its time.

Five years later, we're still mixing by hand, still building our community one loaf at a time, and still surprised by how many neighbors stop by just to say hello. That's the real recipe — flour, water, salt, and the people who show up.

The Café

Pull Up a Chair

A warm corner for slow mornings, work-afternoons, and conversations that stretch past closing time.

Morning Coffee

Pour-over, espresso, or a simple black cup — we pour it right and serve it warm, starting at dawn.

Community Table

Our long wooden table is always open. Bring a book, bring a laptop, or bring a friend you haven't seen in a while.

Private Gatherings

Birthdays, small meetings, quiet celebrations — we'll set the table and fill the room with something fresh from the oven.

"The sourdough here changed the way my family eats on Sundays. We drive in from Wilkes-Barre just for the crust."
